Can you imagine, the last time I went on a trip where I used my camera was New Years! it had been so long and didn’t realise how much I missed it until I was there. Well, let’s see how that went…
I was there for 4 days with a close friend and my cousin from Nairobi. To be honest with you, I agreed to go only a couple days before. It was super spontaneous. We decided to go for a very budget stay, taking all our cooking utensils and food with us too. Yeah, we self cooked there! but, it was actually pretty easy. I would wake up at about 4am, start with making some coffee because its 4am and then while the other 2 woke up and got ready, we made some boiled eggs and got our snacks ready for the day in the park. I used my car for the first 2 days and when my friend joined in, his car for the last 2 days. I own an FJ cruiser. For those who know me or are car fanatics, you know how that turned out!

The trip turned out to be a great success. I managed to get some captures that I never had before. I wanted to try some new techniques, but I was more excited about just being there. to be very honest, im happy with some of the shots I got. have a look below!
